my guess is money and the holiday

someone posted that Miami wanted 20K to put our band in the stands. You would think they would appreciate the extra crowd. not so much

maybe they needed the money to buy bigger seat covers for the upper deck

Thats ABSURD!!!

Why try to put the "rivalry" tag on this match-up when we dont even bring out BAND?!?!!?  This is STUPID!!!

OMG...i am so pissed right now.

Why people in the USF band/athletic office just roll over and die with this is just beyond me. 

HAVE SOME BALLS AND HAVE OUR SCHOOL PROPERLY REPRESENTED!!!

8va.... It was all about the money... The trip had been on the schedule for HOT since the spring... This past Monday, the athletic Dept decides they won't drop the 20k for them to go... Keep in mind thats the same amount they paid for HOT to go to the FSU game.

The 20k wasn't out is line as it included the tickets and extra security for the band... That's about normal.

SO USF just just give tickets away to the visiting school if they want to bring their band? It's a business. USF dropped the ball pay the **** 20k.

Outside of @FSU and their bowl game, UM's band does not travel.
