Did anyone notice that the second string safeties were playing what looked like the entire second half? Jenkins and Joyce looked pretty good, though.

Through the entire season up to this point a lot of underclassmen have been on the field for quite some time. Between their talent level and probably showing new recruits you have a chance to get PT immediately this will only help our program. The PT they are getting this season while being new in their college careers is very valuable.

and i think this illustrates a huge difference from the last coaching regime........and may be a reason why we faded every BE season then, people get dinged up you have to build depth

Those two are way more talented thatn Lejiste and Young. Seem to be out of position less and deliver harder hits (particularly Joyce). Maybe thats just a result of less playing time.
