They were talking about this on Rivals Radio yesterday, in reference to the BSU / LaTech game. Their point was that Thursday games were now "acceptable" for major programs, but any other day of the week should still be reserved for the Sun Belt, etc. They said BSU should not have accepted a Tuesday game, since doing so actually cost them votes through the lack of prestige, rather than increased their votes through the exposure.

So perhaps you could say that Thursday is the new Monday (as in MNF). Traditionally, we haven't done well on Thursday, but FCSH should change that.

Anywhoo.. I think we're still at the point in our program where we take any TV games we can get. We just need to learn how to win them. We may have passed UAB, but we're still nowhere near Bama.

The BCS National Championship game is never on a weekend date...always like a Monday or Wednesday.  Just saying....so if we play in one of those....that would be good.
