This is in Scouts Nebraska section, talking about Curt being recruited as a CB. So I guess some teams are recruiting as a WR and some as a CB. Wonder what he wants to play?

Florida DB set to visit Nebraska

By Bryan Munson

BigRedReport.com

Date: Sep 14, 2010

The Huskers haven't had an official visitor this year, but that is pretty typical. They usually do not host players the first weekend for official visits, regardless of game time, and the second game against Idaho was an 11:00 start time making it tough to make it in. There are also bigger games to come in and see like Texas. This Florida DB is now confirmed to be coming in that weekend.

A little more elucidation on how big Curt's game was.

Miami Central QB passes way to yet another record

Standout DE Maggitt denies recruiting rumor; highly touted WR Benjamin plays final high school game

Wednesday, October 27, 2010

2. Record-setting performances, Part II: Chaminade-Madonna (Hollywood) teammates Jerrard Randall and Curt Evans entered their names into the Broward County record book in Chaminade’s 42-41 win against district rival Archbishop Carroll (Miami) last Friday. Randall, who made an early verbal commitment to Oregon, completed 20 of 23 passes for 432 yards and three touchdowns, which ties former North Broward Prep quarterback Matt Werksman for most passing yards in a game in the past 10 years. Randall’s only incomplete passes were interceptions. Evans had 11 catches for 301 yards, the second-most receiving yards in county history behind the record 324 yards that Kyle Whitley of Calvary Christian (Fort Lauderdale) set last year. Randall and Evans teamed up on a 41-yard touchdown pass that was the game-winning score against Archbishop Carroll. The teams combined for 974 yards of offense and 40 first downs.

We lost out to the Demon Deacons? Ouch. As bad as we need WR help, this one really hurt.

Wake Forest is red hot right now, as they've picked up two commitments in the last few hours. The latest is Hollywood (FL) Chaminade Madonna wide receiver Curt Evans. The three-star wideout chose the Demon Deacons over a slew of other schools after an impressive visit this past weekend.
