He has been playing WR but is projected as a DB, likely corner.Posted on Monday, 08.23.10rBY RUDY RODRIGUEZ-CHOMATMiami Herald WriterChaminade-Madonna is coming off a 12-1 season that saw the Lions reach the Class 2B state semifinals, where they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker to Tampa Catholic.''It will be a chore, though, for Tyrrell and his staff, considering he lost players such as linebacker Hans Louis, the Miami Herald's Class 1A-3A Player of the Year. Two others -- Ruben Narcisse and Whitney Sherry -- also earned first-team All-Broward honors. Sandro Jean-Baptiste and Demitri Beal were second-team All-Broward players. Also expected to contribute on defense are defensive backs Curt Evans, who played primarily at wide receiver last year, and Raheem Roberson, a transfer from Virginia.``Curt Evans is our nickel [back]. A lot of schools have offered him [scholarships] at corner,'' Tyrrell said. ``He's a major [Division 1] top 20 corner in the country.''Read more: http://www.miamiherald.com/2010/08/23/1788364/chaminade-regroups-on-defense.html#ixzz0yRCdlGV4

Great picture of his dad. Don't know which is right but his coach is calling him a corner prospect and says he's playing Nickel Back this season. Great picture of his dad. The senior took a 75-yard reception to the house and followed it up with a 78-yard kick return after a Legacy safety.Read more: http://www.miamiherald.com/2010/09/03/1806203/chaminade-blows-17-point-lead.html#ixzz0yU9QmFLV

Here is WVU recruiting him as WR as well? Looks like we made the short list though.Curt Evans is a 6′0, 175 pound wideout from Chaminade Madonna Prep in Hollywood, Florida. He is a 3-star according to Rivals and is ranked as the 32nd best player nationally at his position. Scouts and coaches say that Evans is the true definition of a “deep threat†and he can score from anywhere on the field.Evans has a very impressive offer sheet which includes offers from West Virginia, Michigan, Nebraska, Florida State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, South Florida, Wake Forest, Virginia, Kansas, Maryland, Boston College, Stanford, Purdue, and several others.Evans just recently named the five schools at the top of his list. West Virginia, Nebraska, Duke, Vanderbilt, and South Florida all made the cut. He plans on visiting all five schools in the fall.Lonnie Galloway is the lead recruiter for the young speedster. Evans says he is familiar with a lot of the WVU players Florida that come from the south Florida area. Evans also says he has heard great things about Morgantown and he likes the fast-paced offense that West Virginia runs.We hope to have more info on Curt Evans over the next few weekshttp://goldandbluezone.com/football/recruiting/curt-evans-names-his-top-5-will-visit-west-virginia/
