After today's loss, I've already had numerous students say "well better luck next season."

Most think that the season just ended today. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE make sure they know we may be hosting an NIT game or two.

If USF athletics pushes it, the Bulls could be hosting UM in the first round of NIT

I dont think UM gets in, think they are headed to the CBI

UF will make the NCAA Tourney, and if they dont will be a 1 seed in the NIT

There is nothing to push or sell with regards to hosting NIT games. This has changed since the last time USF was in that tournament. Now all 32 teams are seeded in four brackets, and the higher seed hosts the game, period, end of story.

With that in mind, it would be a major upset if USF didn't host at least one game, and I'd put good odds on them hosting another one after that.
