who woulda thought we'd be having this discussion 5 months ago.  What a great season either way.  Nobody has given a rats *** about us in hoops for 20 years.  It's nice to be recognized!

GO BULLS

If you would have said at the beginning of the season that one team would be 17-15 and (8-12 BE) and out in the first round of the BE tourney and the other would be 20-11 (10-9 BE) and working on a NCAAT invite, you would say that UConn was having a down year and USF was doing great to be at 40% in the BE. The fact that those facts are reversed is AWESOME!

:D

How pissed are the UConn fans?

Good thing about being a UConn hoops fan is they can now switch to their ladies' team and their 345 game winning streak ...

I think after UConn lost to USF this past weekend, they knew they were not going to dance and therefore did not show up.  Feel bad for Calhoun, nothing worse than to have your players quit on you.

Calhoun pulled his starters from the USF game in the second half, and he also said those same players wouldn't be playing in the Big East tournament - it's not surprising that they got pounded by St Johns.

The UConn loss to St Johns won't hurt our RPI as much as playing G'town and 'Cuse will help it - even if we go 1-1 in those two games, it will help our RPI a great deal.
