Last four in:

Saint Mary's

San Diego State

South Florida

Washington

Showing us matched against Maryland in the New Orleans opening round of the Midwest/St. Louis region.

And from Collegehoops.net...

Into/Out of Projected At-Large Bid:

In: South Florida

Out: Dayton

The BubbleBoard has little respect of probable tournament teams Illinois & Marquette, instead favoring Ole Miss & South Florida. South Florida is an interesting team, 9-9 in Big East play with 3 Top 50 wins is quite on par with the likes of Marquette, UCONN, Notre Dame, etc (if not better) but for whatever reason they don't get much respect nationally. This is probably a case of brand-name bias coming through.. the computers, though, don't know one team from another.

NIT-ology also has us now as a 2 seed hosting Marshall.

This just shows how much the predictions are a crap shoot right now.

Lunardi has us out, but then he had us out after we beat GTown and the NCAA mock selections had us in.

CollegeRPI has us out.

We just need to focus and play some good ball the next few days along with minimal big surprise teams stealing bubble spots.

If we beat Georgetown we are in the Tournament.  I don't care what anyone says.  That would give us a minimum of four wins against the RPI top 50 and 21 wins overall.

That's dancing.

Agreed...

BUT... we really need ODU, Gonzaga, Butler to win their tourneys!!!  The bigger the bubble, the better.

It would also help if Seton Hall lost

I would rather be out right now...give these kids some extra motivation.  If we can beat Gtown and stay close if not pull out another upset in the semi's we have a good chance.  Would love to see us get the out right bid by winning the whole thing...that would send shock waves all over!

Of course we need help all over...

I agree, and if the selection committee met today, USF wouldn't make it - there is a lot of work still left to do.
