The women's tourney limits the band to 25 people, so there still should be more than a dozen or so in the stands.  To their credit, they sounded fine from what I could hear...just a lot of empty seats.  A band of less than 30 is really almost not worth having at a game.

Really?....some of you are surprised people ***** about this stuff on this board....really?!  Get over your-holier-than-thou-selves.  I've seen whiny posts from each of you several times over.  If you don't think the topic is worth talking about...DON'T POST.

Not to jump on the wahhhambulance but we should of had more then 12... the section looked very empty for a big game like this? Was this televised?

I went to the game with my dad (a former UF band member) and he was very surprised at how few were there as well. But he did think the lone tuba player did a hell of a job, so kudos to whoever was playing the tuba!

I think there is an easy way to fix the pep-band turnout. Make it a requirement that in your first year in HOT you must also play in the pep band

To add...

They are students...on their own time, not getting paid (please correct me if this isn't the case) and they came out on a Saturday afternoon to play music for you.

How about giving props to the ones who were there, instead of complaining about the ones who weren't?
