Approximatelly how many more games do we need to win to make the NIT?

I could be wrong, but I believe we are pretty much a lock for the NIT right now with 16 wins. We are guaranteed a winning record also. I'm not sure how the seeding works, so if we want a decent seed (and possibly a home game) we'd probably need 19-20 wins.

Maybe Jones will stay for his senior year now that  NCAA chances are slim

Maybe?  This young man still has a lot to learn and USF is far better than the D-league.

how?

i mean he isnt gonna go any higher in the draft by coming back.  and the d league sure does pay a lot better than usf.

I think unless we fall flat and lose all of our remaining games we are going to NIT.

Our most probable opening opponent could be Miami and that could be a home game.

Jones has not been great the past few games and that will hurt his NBA chances. He needs to improve his passing skills and also shooting. I think he is not a 1st rounder and will return.

No NIT unless they grab another couple wins...with the remaining schedule, if they don't get at least 2 wins they won't make it far in the NIT anyway.

I think unless we fall flat and lose all of our remaining games we are going to NIT.

I don't know about losing all remaining games...but if we hold serve the rest of the way, the NIT very realistic.

Hard to see Jones as a first-rounder at this point unless the Bulls make some serious noise in post-season. Without knowing the kid's situation, the better choice is to stay in school, imo.
