smazza, I know this stuff you write is not thought out at all and is just part of your never ending criticism of Leavitt, but who held Canales back at Arizona?  He was fired - he had an anemic offense.  Just curious if that was Geroge W., er, Jim Leavitt's fault too?

It couldn't have been George W's fault.  He was busy steering Katrina into New Orleans.

I wanna know if Phil Rivers would agree with you Bulliever?

Better yet, had Phillip Rivers played for Arizona, it might have turned out better for Canales.

From reading their boards, they seem really excited if they land him. I know some of the fanbase, including myself, disliked Canales' play calling. So good for Mike and good for North Texas, it's nice to be excited about a hiring and going to a place that is excited to receive you. They even talk about him possibly being in the running for head coach next year should their current coach get fired.

canales really shouldnt expect to make 200K again.

he was in over his head at that level.

he should be successful at his current position though.
