...to anyone else on the sidelines?  He is always at the very far end of the sideline just hanging out looking bored.  He never reacts to what is going on on the field, good or bad.  He doesn't really look like a football player (I know if he were in his pads and uni he would look more like one) I've even seen him dancing to the music over the loudspeakers.  I don't know maybe it's just me.  I would feel much better about our QB situation next year if he were kind of hanging out near the QB coaches/offensive coaches/coach Leavitt.  He should be taking this time to learn as much as he can.

I'd rather him NOT hang out with the QB coach/Offensive coordinator....

Dont wanna start any bad habits, now do we?

Denson is a great athlete and kid. You will see it next year.

Maybe USF will use Denson in the secondary because we need alot of help there. If USF gets Carlton Hill and Grothe, then it will be very interesting to see who wins the QB spot.

I hope we do put him at CB.   That would be awesome.  If he were a true team playerand he gets beat out fair and square at QB he should relish the opportunity to start on defense.  It would be a huge upgrade.

beastiebull,

Yes it would be, but the question is if Denson would want to play DB. I know one of the reasons he left Auburn for USF is to play QB because Auburn wanted him to play on the defense. Who knows, maybe he will fall in love with USF and stay regardless of what position he gets to play.

He has no point, he has never seen this kid play.

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
