Listening to the interview, anyone else get the feeling...

...I'm excited.  I'm grateful for what Leavitt did for us but I've wondered since 2008 if maybe he couldn't get us over the hump.  I didn't want it to end the way it did, but I like our chances with Skip Holtz and think we just improved dramatically in our chances to take the Big East next year.

same here. and make that since 2007. ive said for the past several months, we need a fresh set of eyes on this program. we will go far

Just watched the video and I am very excited for him to get started here. But after seeing the end and seeing Skip flash the bull horns I had a deep sorrow come over me.. I didn't think I would see that day that it wasn't Leavitt doing that. Anyone else feel the same way?

I've always been a Leavitt supporter, but he dug his own grave on this one. Time to move on. I think if Skip succeeds here, he will be stickin around for a while. We are payin him lots of cash.

FWIW,

Plenty of people are not too excited about change because of the unknown. It is actually kind of nerve racking for some people as they must adjust and leave people that they are use to being with. They have to leave behind relationships with the community which is hard to do. Urban Meyer is believed to have hated the Gainesville are when he first took over the job because it was not his style. His wife really helped him through the adjustments, and now Meyer says  he loves Gainesvillle.

I think if Holtz gets USF into national prominance, the booster money will only get bigger. I expect other SEC schools to go after him, but it will be up to USF to give him bigger contracts.
