The 2009 TheBullsPen.com Fantasy Football season concluded this weekend with Division 1 champion Tampa Thunder winning a decisive championship game over Division 2 Winners.  Tampa Thunder ended the regular season 11-3 in a hotly contested Division 1 that hosted three double-digit winning teams.

Winners, (8-6) edged Go Beavis (10-4) 83.22 - 76.22 to advance to the final.  Tampa Thunder defeated Divsion 3 winner Astro's Avengers (6-8) 111.92 - 66.58 to make it to the final.

Tampa Thunder nailed down the championship trophy with a 79.26 - 57.18 win over Winners.

In a new format, the Fantasy Football league was a four division, 20 team league, with only the division winners advancing to the playoffs.  With an expanded number of teams, solid drafting was crucial.  Talent was scarce - it's a terrific win by Tampa Thunder.

As you can expect our team is on cloud nine right now.

Honestly I feel bad for the coaches of the other teams in our division. A 10 win season might look good but we all know that if you don't win a championship every year, well, you should be fired.

Yes, the talent was scarce but our crack recruiting specialists really went out and did the job and I am proud of them but again I feel bad for the others because we all know that if you can't have the number one recruiting class each year, well, you should be fired.

Finally I heard there were some rookie QB's out there this year. Well they weren't on our team and because of that we won the championship. We all know that rookie QB's should be benched, especially if they don't win a championship, I mean come on they had all year!

Lastly, I want to thank all our fans and the lawyers out there. Thank you for the constant negativity, the constant harassment and the continual questioning of our teams capabilities, management style and direction. We all know that without the constant threat of losing our jobs, we would have never won this championship.

Thanks again and we look forward to doing it all again next year.
