Ok so I am not a big BBall fan but was just looking at their schedule and it peaked my interest into possibly going to a few games this year.

1. Are you allowed to tailgate, drink in the parking lot

2. Do they sell beer in the Dome

3. How is the crowd are they pretty pumped or does it feel like church in there

4. Are they strict on where you sit, if I am using a student ticket and want to sit in the stands with my family?

5. Are there any traditions we need to learn?

1. yes

2. yes

3. church

4. as long as it's not a Big East game, with a ranked team, then you're fine.

5. Not really....just pay attention to the pep band and cheer along.

Agree with what Woogie said, but the atmosphere isn't THAT bad once we start playing games that matter (BE games).

Yes, you can tailgate. Yes, you can drink.

2. Do they sell beer in the Dome

I believe so.

3. How is the crowd are they pretty pumped or does it feel like church in there

Depends. If there is a good crowd and we are rolling, that place can rock with the best of them. If its a blowout or a lousy opponent, it can be very docile.

4. Are they strict on where you sit, if I am using a student ticket and want to sit in the stands with my family?

Not sure, but they are strict about getting into the lower middle student section.

5. Are there any traditions we need to learn?

Hold up two bulls horns during a free throw and when we make it, its a quick stomp-stomp clap-clap "BULLS!"

Other than that its your typical scream on defense, annoy the other team, sing alma mater at the end.

As in CMU and UCF? Don't expect much out of the student section, especially since it's winter break. But good on you for goin'!

Don't base whether you'll wanna go back or not on games over xmas break against non conference teams. We play top 10 West Virginia at home the second or third day that we're back in January!

nah I will base it on if we have fun, we are able to have fun without the assitance of others, we have a good group of peeps.  My wife has never watched bball and I am not a fan of it but am willing to give it another go round

I hope so because the atmosphere for the CMU game will be horrible. Sunday afternoon games are the absolute worst ... The UCF game will have a better atmosphere, mostly from the UCF fans attending, hoping to see them beat us again ...

BTW, at one of those games you've got try the mini-donuts, one of those SunDome traditions you were asking about.  ;)
