Among all the amazing plays - specifically by our receivers, what are you referring to?  The Plancher fumble?

We're averaging 6.8 yards per play...I guess we can be pissed about the stupid plays, which ones?

The opposite of amazing plays is not dumb plays.  Dumb plays are plays that are bad because of decision making, not poor execution/bad breaks/great play by other team.  USF players and coaches do seem to make more than their share of dumb plays.  After going for it on 4th vs WVU Leavitt basically said after the game it was a bad decision but he did it cause he was upset with the official spot... not exactly the kind of pragmatism I think most people look for in a head coach.

In this particular game I think Mo's fumble is a good example of a dumb play.  Normally a fumble would just be a bad play, but in that situation the only two things Mo can't do are go out of bounds or loose the football - he has to know that.  Other examples are pretty much every play from first and goal to end the half.  Taking a TO when clock was already stopped to move the chains, BJ attempting to elude pressure instead of just throwing out of end zone on first down, 2nd down play call to QB draw from the 9 yard line with no timeouts (was that play called or did BJ decide that??).

The 3rd down play to spike the ball was well executed, given the time available it was nice to see BJ able to rally everyone to the line and get the ball spiked w/ out any procedure penalties.

Maybe Jim was remembering Albert Delvarado's 37 yard punt average and thought WTH?  Add that to Trent Guy's 60 yard punt return for a TD and suddenly going for it seemed to be the safer bet.

What is going on with Delbert?  He used to be a great punter.  He is off kick-offs and field goals so he fan focus on his main area and he seems to have gotten worse.  Yeah he drilled a nice one when the game was pretty much in hand.
