Chris Peterson is presently making $850K - Leavitt is making $1.5 million? Peterson is from California and living in Idaho. $650K raise and warmer climate. He has Boise State #6 in the BCS. Boise State. #6. But, then again - there is apparently no way Leavitt is going anywhere anytime soon and that is just sad. I guess I just don't understand why people are so willing to accept mediocrity with such open arms?

You think he will come to USF and not want a raise?  His boy Hawkins left BSU and got a huge raise at CU (and that has turned out well). 

So we buy out 7mil to CJL and then have to pony up another contract for another coach. Sorry not accepting it, but dealing with it

Keep Leavitt, we wouldn't be able to afford Weis anyways. I hope he goes back and becomes the Patriots OC again, then maybe we will have solid redzone performance like 07!
