I'd be very happy with .500... 16-17 wins would be very successful season... if we can get 7+ in conference, that too would be a good accomplishment...

but one game at a time... who knows... we finally have some decent talent... with more depth on the way (crater in december, rivas when he is recovered, and the freshmen when they get going - hopefully).  There is plenty to be hopeful about.

Jones looked spectacular last night and Leemow looked increasingly confident too.

Andrikk commented on the tv broadcast that Justin spent pretty much the whole off season working on his shooting. Hopefully he continues to improve there ...

I believe it... did you see him posing after each shot.  When he released his shot each time, he had a smile on his face before the ball started descending.  When I saw that... I knew something had changed.

If he is the three point specialist, then that is fine with me. Add Crater to the mix and we have a 5 guard rotation that will cause some havoc in the Big East. Let's just hope that Rivas comes back soon to help out the bigs as well.

Astro what r u and some of the others hearing about Rivas? I'm starting to see where Rivas might not play at all this season. My question is if that's true then will he be given a medical redshirt to play next season?

To be honest Vega, I haven't heard anything. I don't think that he has used up a redshirt yet, so maybe he would be a 5th year senior next season. Just with a surgery like that, I don't want him to rush into things if he is not ready.

I just looked in over at scout and Larry is saying that he doesn't see how Rivas will be ready to play this season.

If this is what's going happen then Fitzpatrick needs to get better and get better in a hurry. I also know that Heath is practicing Dumars at the PF spot too because he might have to play a few minutes there. Any injury even if slight will be devastating to the Bulls this season.
