This could really be an average season afterall!.500 anyone??

I didn't like some of the breakdowns we had on defense, but I think that's fixable. Lots of talent on this team, diggin Fitzpatricks mohawk. +1 for the Big East over the ACC. But nonetheless, once the team warmed up, they played very well. We finally have some height. I would like to see them attack the paint more. Also liked having 3 players scoring double digits, and leemow hittin 3 pointers
Paul Wall Posted November 17, 2009 Group: Member Topic Count: 0 Content Count: 937 Reputation: 9 Days Won: 0 Joined: 12/09/2006 Share Posted November 17, 2009 ya.. i take it all back about Leemow if he can't hit those 3's in BE play! Also, having post players really added a new dimension to our team that we lacked last year. Famous shows a lot of strength down low. Gus played with crazy amount of intensity and is one of the only people who can knock down free throws on the team. Gus kind of slowed down in the last 10-15 mins but you could tell he was pushing it to the wire for about the first 30 mins, digging for loose balls, grabbing rebounds, and blocking...Kind of disappointed in Fitz he was not an offensive threat at all... Also disappointed in our committee of back up guards. Dumars, Noriega, and Burrwell were all advertised as pure shooters, I know they only got to play for 2 minutes but these kids need some experience if they are gonna be useful at all in BE play. Let's not crank up the expectations here. It will save you a lot of energy later.
