South Florida defensive end George Selvie has been chosen as one of 12 semifinalists for the Lombardi Award, given to nation's best offensive or defensive lineman.

Selvie has some pretty stiff competition for the award, including Nebraska's Ndamukong Suh, TCU's Jerry Hughes, Alabama's Rolando McClain and Terrence Cody and Florida's Brandon Spikes.

Selvie is a two-time All-American for the Bulls.

The four finalists for the award will be announced Nov. 10.
