QB- B

RB- C+ (Ford really screwed up, should have had bigger games against the first three teams)

OL- B+ (nice surprise)

WR- B

DL-B+ (so far one good game, let's see what they do with BE competition)

LB- C+ (didn't look too good the first few games, but came around last week)

DB- A-

ST- D (not all DA's fault, but still biggest weakness on team)

Special Teams = D- (Missed Field Goals, Kick Return Coverage)

Overall Coaching = B (Better than past couple years, still has lot to prove)

First 4 Games:

WOF = B+

WKU = C+

CSU = A+

FSU = B+ (Missed Field Goals)

Team:

Quarterbacks = B+ (Grothe was usual, BJ still has lots to improve on, he showed alot of fatigue at the end of FSU, prolly because he wasn't used to playing 60min of football.)

Running Backs = D - (where are they?)

Offensive Line = B(better...no stupid penalties Zach!)

Wide Rec = C (nothing special here, any of us could have caught those passes in the last game, little upset by the amount of drops still, AJ had a nice one though)

Defensive Line = A - (very good pressure...where were they in the first 3 games?)

Linebackers = B- (stepped it up this week...with that be a normal thing?

Defensive Backs = C (nothing too bad...but they still haven't "impressed" at all.)

Special Teams = D- (missed FG's, and return coverage...come on guys!  plug those holes.)

Overall Coaching = B (we are doing good...but many of us are still cautiously optimistic.)

First 4 Games:

WOF = B (decent first game against a team that is, surprisingly, very good.)

WKU = C- (We should have beat them by so much more!)

CSU = A+ (good point spread)

FSU = B+ (missed opportunities with FG's and over thrown passes.  Should have won 30-7)

Overall...im happy.  I know that i hold this team to very high standards...and because of that....my grades arent entirely high.  I only gave one "A" out and that was for our D-line.  They seem to be the only consistent group, right now, on the field.  I just WISH that the rest of the team comes out with the same intensity of last week, during BIG EAST play. 

WE NEED TO CRUSH THE ORANGE TODAY!!!

Quarterbacks B-

Grothe did well, had 2 Int's. Daniels did well in his mop up games. Daniels @ FSU was good enough to keep the grade to a B. If he would have completed more and not thrown some real bad balls, this would have been an A. (Think this game will get a high mark.)

Running Backs C-

Steady, but nothing to say wow about. Expected better runs in those first 3 games.

Offensive Line C+

Wasn't overly impressed in the first 3 games, but they did a GREAT job against FSU.

Wide Rec A-

Depth and great Run After the Catches.

Defensive Line A-

They got extra credit from the FSU game, but nothing impressive the first 3 games.

Linebackers B

We're seeing lots of big plays.

Defensive Backs B+

This young crew is doing very well.

Special Teams C

Breaks down in a few areas. Punting is great. FG's are bad and coverage needs to step it up on both sides.

Coaching B

The FSU game is really the best to grade. Think the first 3 games were player evaluation. Grea game plan against FSU. Why only a B then? Well, I think the coaches let up in the 2nd half of FSU. Offensively, we just did enough to move the ball. Defensively, we didn't have to do many blitz packages. The players won the game in the 2nd half and the coaches put them in that position in the 1st.

Pretty sure that's what the poster is alluding to, that our RB corps is underperforming in part because of Ford's suspension.
