Single A hockey draft, held this past weekend in Chicago. The 7th overall pick went as the 1st pick in the second round to the Chi-Town Shooters. Nick attended IMG Academy for hockey in Bradenton and stopped pucks in Manitoba, Canada after IMG in juniors. He chose to come to USF and play hockey for the club team after his brother was diagnosed with brain tumors; so he could help at home. He earned the title of College Hockey South Player of the Year and ACHA D3 All American, as some of his awards, while at USF. I hope the Chicago Alumni group can make it out to support a fellow Bull at some games this season!

Best of luck! Gurly Thanks Britt! Nick helped raise $25,000 during his years at USF for children with cancer. He hopes to create an event with his new team that will benefit children with cancer up in Chicago as well. He is excited for the change of weather of course. Trevor McLean was the first back in the mid 1990's, even earning a tryout with the Lightning.
