Someplace close to Heinz Field so we can walk to the stadium and into the downtown area.

I tried to get a hotel close to Heinz Field but everything was either sold out or $225/night.  We'll be staying at Four Points By Sheraton Pittsburgh Airport.  I got a pretty good deal by booking it using Priceline name your own price for $65/night

Me and my girl are staying at the Hilton downtown. We booked as soon as we knew the date of the game so I'm not sure what we paid. There is also a Steelers home game on Sunday so as USFKT said, rooms near the stadium are probably either gone or really expensive at this point.

Anything downtown there is really close to the field, a group of us made the trip last time we played up there and had a great time. We were talking about doing it again this year, but more than half of us that went last time have been victims of this economy.

Also, we stayed at the Westin and they had a shuttle that would take you anywhere within a like 5 miles for free. Could pretty much go anywhere in the city with that.

Unfortunately, hotels are pretty booked right now because of the Steelers game, foliage, and wedding season here with Fall.

USF Alumni living here in the 'burgh and will be at the game so if you have any questions, I'm happy to help =]

We had a difficult time getting a hotel and are in Cranberry at the Holiday Inn Express.  It wasn't a bad drive to downtown the last time I was in the 'burgh.  That said, I am calling many hotels frequently checking for cancellations.  I couldn't believe that everything was booked- even the ones in West Mifflin and Homestead.  I have family in the area and they are Pitt fans, so we won't stay there.

Have you tried the Marriott at Pittsburgh Mills?

It's right at a mall with lots of restaurants.  It's an easier drive and straight shot (less traffic) than Cranberry, trust me.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
