It's great to see our university allow the use of the USF logo for youth sports teams, unlike Miami, who sued over something like this.  This is great PR for the program, IMHO.

yea that is a REAL good move by the university.

these kids will now want to go to USF games because they are wearing the same uniform and help build fans at a young age.

which will in turn, help get their parents on board as well.

plus it will help merch sales.

This is a really nice move. My high school is who Miami tried suing a few years back. We had used the logo and it was in the Orlando Sentinel for our team for around 20 years. Then they came out to the middle of no where and saw it and started all that BS. It was only used on letterheads and by the media. All of our shirts, decals, etc had been changed for years.

I think it was a great idea, also.  I just hope they got it cleared with USF first and we don't pull a Miami on them.
