Hopefully our new OC will be able to mix in the plays where the RB's have a chance. Mike Ford usually had two plays last year. If the O-line plays well and the OC is just a little bit creative the Rb's will be a force. Of course there's one other guy that has to be able to read the defense a little bit. Rhythm between a back and his line, and just being consistent for a RB requires that he get a consistent amount of carries in a given game. Our backs never develop any rhythm because they are never in the game long enough. No running back is good at everything, and we have a list of backs who could be an every down back. Granted none is markedly better than the other, but I think they are all individually pretty good. I caution everyone to not hold out hope that things are going to change any time soon, given CJL's history. Go Bulls!!
