Hall could break McMillan's single season rushing record with a strong game against ECU... The Pirates allow an average of 236 yards rushing per game - and Hall needs 195 more to pass McMillan's season record.  He moved into 2nd place with his effort against UAB.

1. Dyral McMillan       1,017  (181)    1999

2. Andre Hall                822  (128)    2004

3. Rafael Williams        729  (139)    1997

4. Rafael Williams        704  (167)    2000

5. Jermaine Clemons   686  (119)    1997

He has a few other records within his reach this year or next:

Rushing Attempts, Season

1. Dyral McMillan          181 (1999)

2. Rafael Williams        167 (2000)

3. Rafael Williams        139 (1997)

4. Marquel Blackwell    128 (2000)

5. Andre Hall                122 (2004)

Rushing Touchdowns, Season

1. Marquel Blackwell      9 (2001)

   Andre Hall                  9 (2004)

   Dyral McMillian           9 (1999)

   Otix Dixon                  9 (1998)

5.  Clenton Crossley      7 (2001)

    Jermaine Clemons    7 (1997)

    Rafael Williams         7 (1997)

Rushing Touchdowns, Career

1. Marquel Blackwell     20 (1999-2002)

2. Rafael Williams         18 (1997-2000)

3. Otis Dixon                 17 (1997-2000)

4. Clenton Crossley      14 (2001-   )

5. Dyral McMillan           13 (1998-1999)

6. Jermain Clemons      10 (1997-1999)

7. Andre Hall                9 (2002-   )

And he's currently 2nd on the Average Gains Per Rush, Season list:

(Minimum of 75 carries)

5. Dyral McMillian           5.6 (181-1,017) 1999

If he gets to 225 carries this year and next, he could be in first place for Average Gain Per Rush, Career:

1. Dyral McMillan       5.8 (225-1,246) 1998-1999

2. Rafael Williams     4.9 (462-2,253) 1997-2000

He is the man!

we share #'s on opposite sides of the ball.  Or if one or more of the dups are redshirting... like copeland and ponton sharing 22, even though they are both Running Backs.

We even have 3 #7's this year... see below for all duplicates this year (this is from prior to the season starting, so you'll see at least one that isn't with the team)

Hall is also #24 in the nation in rushing, despite only rushing for only 57 vs div 2 tenn tech and 41 vs USC, and only 56 vs Lville, and he has a game in pocket. on most, if not all of the people above him.  He also has on avg 50 carries less than most the players above him.
