yea i think they might throw webster out there to start. He could be that good. I think its worth it with his speed and the fact our corners are pretty weak.

The guy that started over Q last year was pretty weak so that says something.

Q was a freshman last year and the guy who started was a senior... might have had less to do with talent than game experience.

That's probably the main reason why Leavitt is changing his ways. He's probably kicking himself for not playing Q to begin with.

Or he wasn't ready to start the season but was by the end of it.  I didn't know people thought his performance towards the end of the season was "weak."  That was news to me.

I honestly don't know what the staff was thinking but starting freshmen is not unprecendented here.

Trae Williams, Mike Jenkins, Moffitt, Selvie, C Williams, Danny Verpaele, Aaron Harris, Allen Cray, Stephan Nicholas, all started multiple games as freshmen.

That was more out of necessity than by choice....btw Mike and Trae were nothing special their freshman years and now they're both in the NFL

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
