Okay, two things:

I graduated on Friday.  So, of course, all full of anticipation, I ran to the Alumni Center and joined the Association.  Does anyone know how long it generally takes for a new member to gain access to the members’ area of the Alumni Website?  I need to use all available resources to find a J-O-B.  When I attempt to access now, my name is shown as not being in the database.

ALSO: Funny thing; while walking around the Alumni Center, I encountered this big old book that the staff has displayed.  Inside the book are note cards filled out by graduates stating their fondest memories of USF.  I swear to you, the first note card I read was written by a “Steven Smazza.† His best memory?  All the beautiful girls at the USF pools.

I now full-heartedly believe smazza gets a bad wrap. I’m on his side.

My bad.  The note card was written in all lowercase and contained multiple spelling mistakes so it was clearly the same individual.  ;D

I wonder if they don't give access until you "officially" graduate? Grades don't post until tomorrow and then certification still takes 4-6 weeks to complete. Not trying to be a downer, but you won't show as "graduated" in the records system for a month or more. There are lots of people who "walk" but don't graduate.

That makes sense.  It's not a big deal.  I just need to find temporary employment while I take my LSAT this summer and get that ball rolling.  Thanks for your input!

As a person that will be graduating from a pretty good law school next Friday, is there anything I can do to talk you out of taking the LSAT?!?!?  IT IS NOT WORTH IT!!!!

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
