Do any of you actually read the links in posts? He didn't lose his job. He took a job at AOL Sports.

Thanks Greg, I was about to say that. Geeze people, lighten up.

Funniest thing I saw was one of the comments saying something like 'that was so funny when Whitley went to USF and rode their Bull mascot. who knew it would make them mad enough to put up 100 points on our knights'

I think people are just having fun....He poked his fun at USF folks and USF Folks are poking back.  Afterall, what does a guy get for writing for AOL?  $20.00 a story?

So touchy around here nowadays.  :)

ahhhh....that hurts.

I don't think opinions will be changed through the sheer emotion of Whitley leaving to write stories for AOL.

Just a guess.

Matt, the Minister of Defense to the rescue.

Nobody likes to see someone lose their job but if someone had to go ....... of course, Bianchi would have been a better choice.

He did not get laid off, he is going to AOL Sports... basically a promotion from some O-town rag.  This guy is a real jerk, someone should have mule kicked him while he was on campus with that gross shirt and hat.
