Dungy is great, but the one that suprised me was Tuberville.  Was the loss to USF, 2 years ago, the beginning of the end for him at Auburn?  Maybe CJL placed a wager with him before the game.  If we win, you will come speak at my coaching clinic.

Tony Dungy Headlines 2009 USF Coaching Clinic

TAMPA – Previously an invite-only event, the University of South Florida football program has opened its 2009 Coaching Clinic to the public.

Scheduled for April 3-4, the event will be headlined by Super Bowl Champion head coach Tony Dungy, former Auburn head coach Tommy Tuberville and current Tampa Bay Buccaneers special teams coach Rich Bisaccia.  Additionally, the entire USF coaching staff will lead different clinics during the two-day event.

The Clinic begins on Friday, April 3 at 10 a.m. and will conclude on the afternoon of Sunday, April 4th.

Pre-Registration is only $40.  Four or more coaches from the same organization can register together at $30 per person.  The cost of registration increases to $50 after March 27.

The clinic will feature the following:

In-depth presentation and demonstrations of schemes and techniques

Huddle session with USF coaches

Access to a USF practice and a USF scrimmage

Clinic shirt

Complimentary meals both days

It looks like USF is just covering the costs of putting this on.  Definately worth $40.  Great gesture to the high school coaches.

Tuberville was on the ropes long before our game two years ago.  The same booster that ousted Terry Bowden had grown tired of Tommy because Tommy wouldn't kiss his butt.  Same reason T Bowden got run out of town.  Same reason Chizik got hired, because he plays the booster game.

I am thinking about going. I went to the FACA Clinic in Daytona in January. It was a good clinic. Coach Simmonds was there representing us and then Randy Shannon and Bobby Bowden had sessions that I went to. This one is definitely worth the money though.
