Funny story about Carlton Hill:

During his freshman year I saw him on the corner of Fletcher and 42nd going from the Bull Market back on campus holding a Dutchmaster in full view (a $1 cigar that one guts and replaces with weed for all my non-chronic smoking friends wondering what a Dutchmaster is). Of course less than a year later he's busted for pot.  ;D

I'll take him if Leavitt actually has offered him.  I trust Leavitt on character issues and if he feels that Marve can put those issues behind him then he could be an asset.

Marve will either not learn from this experience or he'll figure it out.  If Leavitt believes he has learned then he'd be an asset.

I like Daniels' potential, but having another QB on the roster to compete for the top spot after Grothe could help make both better.

And if Marve does sign here he might get a hardship waiver with the whole cancer thing.  I think our recruiting class may have made us more attractive.
