Had fsu lost last night, it would not have been a good week for FL schools.

FAWho is a joke and howey is the best con man in college fb.  They return home 5-0, beating several 1-a teams on the road and they draw 12,000?  This team has no business building an on campus stadium or joining 1-a.  If they cant see that, they are blinded by the light and have been duked by howey's blurred vision.  FAwho just doesnt have the kind of support to field a 1-a team.  There arent the kind of casual fans in that area like tampa bay.  It is a completely different world in s.florida.  People arent as much into college football as they are in the rest of the state.   Even miami has trouble drawing fans when they arent playing a top 20 team.  People cant be bothered watching fau.  Plus they dont have a large alumni base in that area to draw from like usf does.  Like fiu they have a lot of out of state and country students, who leave after graduating.

At least ucf lost to worse team then we did and by more points.  We should win all recruiting battles with them in the future.  What can they offer that is better then what we are offering?

Will Florida accept a bowl bid to a game below the Outback?  Options are Peach, Independence, Houston or Music City.  I would bet their AD will pressure the Pres not to accept a bid to these lesser bowls to prove the point he is committed to turning this around and a lesser bowl is not acceptable to UF.

Good point.  That would make them 5-6.  It sure would make Foley's life easier to not have to get into the bowl decision or fire a guy that is over 500.
