He had the right play called at the end where we ran a slant (didn't know we did that), but failed to execute (not surprising).

Two cases:

a.) You expect him to micromanage the offense,

b.) If he is micromanaging, he's clearly doing a poor job.

If it's the former, he needs to either begin micromanaging if he's capable of it, or he needs to bring in a less inept OC. In the other case, he's clearly not sufficient at micromanaging the offense and needs to either bring in a better OC so he doesn't have to, or he needs to be replaced.

I'd love for a qualified OC to come in, and if he fails in the same ways we've failed with our "cheap" staff, it's time for Leavitt to go.
