break your tv, wake up the dead or cause a bar full of people to stop and look at you on that Grothe run?

I hate to bring it up. I know it was the kind of mistake that can happen in the heat of battle.  That being said, the tv did almost get attacked.

That and the two costly overthrows to Love was enough to rack this up as "not one of Matt's best" games.  Nonetheless he had some key runs that contributed and hats off to the defense handling the nations #1 back.

i don't want to harp, but quite a few of the games this season have not been "one of Matt's best."

missing a wide open AJ on that playaction by throwing it 10 yards long and 10 yards wide was inexcusable.

that said, aside from the pick at the end of the half, Grothe did a reasonable job maintaining the game.

and like Brad said, the defense came to play today.  the secondary only gave up that one wide open play, but other than that we kept then in check.

I have a feeling Matt wasn't 100% out there tonight... but a less than 100% Matt is still better than the backup...

MG didn't practice all week. I have a feeling that he lost track of the first down and thought he needed a few extra yards.
