Zach Chibane from Paramus, NJ.  6' 4" 285 per Greg.  Let the whining begin as Chibane's only other offer in writing was Temple.  :'(

Glad to see us begin to expand outside of Florida.

I don't care who the other offers were.  If the coaches have faith in them, that is good enough for me.  Selvie had no offers other than us, so it doesn't matter.

I hope he is 'all day tough' as another Jersey native (Charlie Weis) says about his Jersey players.

Bring the Pain, Chibane!!!

Per ESPN:

"Chibane is a very solid offensive lineman. He is not the biggest lineman but is very active with a great motor. Uses his hands and keeps working them but needs to be more violent with the initial punch. Keeps legs driving on contact and usually results in good movement at the point of attack. Tends to play high which cause problems with more stout defenders; exposes chest to defender. A little stiff in the knees but keeps legs churning. Better than average foot quickness and agility that allows him to get to level two defenders. Defensively, uses his hands to separate and disengage from defenders. Executes the rip technique to perfection when rushing the quarterback. Displays good reaction skills to offensive execution and has a real knack to get to the football. Chibane is a very sound fundamentalist that works hard on the techniques and execution."

Evaluated at 77. Had interest from Syracuse, Boston College, UConn and Temple. (FWIW...I also came across some info on him on a list of having visited Notre Dame earlier this year...)

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
