Big East/Big 10 Baseball Games This Year

Not sure if anyone else noticed this.  It looks like schools from both the Big East and Big 10 will participate against one another to start the year.  Games will be played at Knowlegy Park in Dunedin, BrightHouse Networks Field in Clearwater, and Al Lang Field in St. Pete.  Looks like USF gets Michigan, Purdue, and Indiana that weekend.  Should be a fun baseball weekend.  Here are the schedules:

Big East/Big Ten Challenge Matchups

Day 1 - Friday, February 20

Ohio State vs. Notre Dame

Penn State vs. St. John's

Illinois vs. Iowa

Michigan State vs. Connecticut

Michigan vs. South Florida

Northwestern vs. Georgetown

Minnesota vs. Seton Hall

Indiana vs. West Virginia

Purdue vs. Cincinnati

Day 2 - Saturday, February 21

Michigan vs. Cincinnati

Purdue vs. South Florida

Penn State vs. Northwestern

Ohio State vs. Connecticut

Maybe Rutgers, Louisville, Villanova, and Pittsburgh already had plans? The Big East only has 12 baseball schools. Either that or it wasn't possible logistically to have that many teams playing over one weekend.

Definitely wanna try to catch the Michigan game, mainly because one of my buddies is a UM fan.
