We calculate that by adding the difference between your USF prediction and the actual score to the difference between your FIU prediction and the actual score. (40-40) + (39-3) = 36(40-20) + (39-19) = 40The 40-3 would win.which makes my pointNot really... for several years now it's always been "how far off were you from the actual score" ... not "how close were you to predicting the margin of victory"...The math could also be like this:Actual score: 40+39 = 79Guess 1: 40+3 = 43Guess 2: 20+19 = 39So, again, 40-3 would be the winner of these two scores.See the rules on the first post:...The winner will be decided with the first and second prediction items. I am looking for the person that comes closest to the actual score, not simply the margin of victory. If more than one person is correct, or equally close, we'll go to item three. Closest wins.
