It's funny, USF doesn't want to play UCiF for the same reason UF or FSU doesn't want to play USF.

Nothing to gain from it.

I think that if it were not a rivalry, it would just go away. Like every other OOC game that's played. I know, we HAD to schedule them, we just didn't have to have it as one of the games you marked the calendar for. Planned for it, wouldn't miss it, afraid there wouldn't be enough tickets, and so on.

It's a useless game, but still a rivalry.

And thank God it's almost over.

Strategically, they will get into a BCS conference some day.

We will play them again once that happens, probalby annually.

It will become a rivalry, and a natural one at that. 

I think it will be fun when that happens.

But boy do they hate us, much more than we do them....
