Well they look like a million bucks. What f stop?  You pushing the ISO up? I was going to try some high school football photography and hope it looks half as good as yours. Here's my stuff Mike http://flickr.com/photos/slick1ru2. Again, great shots and that comes from a Nikon user.

part of it is the venue--- SuperBowl quality lighting is outstanding.

I open the ISO all the way 1600

don't be surprised if your results at a HS lighted stadium aren't quite as easy to shoot. If you check my gallery, you'll get an idea of what that is like from the Soccer NCAA playoff game shots--- awfully hard time shooting that game with my equipment

If I turn my ISO up to 1600, I get nothing but grainy photos...granted, I'm not using "equipment" as good as Mike's......I like to call it my "I want to learn how to take cool photos starter kit": Sony DSC-H3

nice pics there-- you are into still life. I tend to like pictures with people in them. Your pictures really pop.
