I wouldn't have said that a month ago, but it's a pretty good situation now. Only a few weeks, so he can't have much of a negative influence. The Rays are now solidly in position for the playoffs, but need another bat in the worst way. It'd be a great fit for Bonds because it wouldn't be a major commitment, but he could remind people that he can still bring the lumber with a nice playoff run. Is there any rumors or reports on this or are you all just in a hoping mood?I can do this too.The rays should trade for albert pujols. We could really use him down the stretch.
