Linked from the gousfbulls training camp site for Thursday:

QB http://www.realfootball365.com/index.php/articles/cfb-news/12118

RB http://www.realfootball365.com/index.php/articles/cfb-news/12142

WR http://www.realfootball365.com/index.php/articles/cfb-news/12177

TE http://www.realfootball365.com/index.php/articles/cfb-news/12179

OL http://www.realfootball365.com/index.php/articles/cfb-news/12232

DL http://www.realfootball365.com/index.php/articles/cfb-news/12284

We are ranked 2nd at QB, 3rd at RB (WVU 4th), 3rd at WR, 2nd at TE, 2nd at OL, and 2nd at DL.  I didn't know UConn's TE was also an NFL prospect if their TE is being ranked ahead of Cedric Hill, but whatever.  We seem to be highly ranked in every category so far.

Find it interesting they chose to talk about Samuels first on the RB list. Love the Aston Martin nickname though. Marketing should do something with that.

Sounds about right to me.

Honestly, anything less than a BE championship will be a disappointment for me.  Thats incredible on its own when you think about it.

Poor Syracuse...ranked last at every position. They are so bad.

yeah, I noticed that.  I wonder if part of that is that it's hard to look good when the rest of your team is terrible compared to the competition you face all year.  Or, I guess they could be that bad...which is sad...

With a terrible o-line and d-line no position can look good.  Peyton Manning would look bad behind the Cuse o-line.  They have a lot of work to do.

This writer is drinking the UConn Koolaid. He must have graduated from there because these are all biased.

He will definitely be missed this season...  His speed/acceleration opened up the playbook a little.  I think he is fast enough to utilize the direct snap and other "trick" running plays.  You need someone to be able to go from standstill to full speed in about 2-3 steps and I think Samuels has that accelleration.

I don't really understand why mentioning Mompremier as one of for Haitians on the team was relevant.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
