He's proven he can find the diamonds in the rough, so it really doesn't matter who rates whom high or low. How does CJL rate the player... that is what matters.That's only true to an extent.A 5 star guy will have more tools than a every 2 star guy period. It doesn't mean they will be better players, it means they have more talent.Sometimes talent isn't enough (see Ryan Leaf). You need talent and determination. Leavitt does a really good job at picking up kids with tremendous determination. If we can get those 4 and 5 star guys that Leavitt sees has the drive, then that is what pushes us into the elite level.Until then we will still lose those games we shouldn't (RU, UConn, Cincy) as the talent levels are on par or favor the opponent.
