Then he went to college and got drafted by them in the 27th or so round. This draft by the reds was pointless and obviously they didn't need anymore picks and decided to take a long shot at him. Usually those signing bonuses are pretty substantial, but i guess not as much 4 yrs ago as they are today. Still think he had a better shot at pro baseball than football. He probably thought he could make it to the NFL if he turned it down. I'm sure he could go higher in the baseball draft if he said that's what he wanted to do.
