Part 4:

Four Story Atrium

Upon entering the new Marshall Student Center through the north, south and east entrances, a four-story atrium welcomes you to the building. A focal point of the building, you will be able to see all around the four levels. The atrium will be a place of activity with space for student organization showcases, numerous dining venues lounges, digital signage, information desk and lots of school spirit.

In the atrium:

-USF seal embedded in the floor

-LCD display screens for campus event info

-63" LCD TV viewing in food cour

-Walls of windows for natural light

-Visible walkways on upper floors

-Grand staircases to 2nd and 3rd floors

-Information Desk

-E-mail kiosk

-Student Life feature wall

-Directional marquees

-Lounges

Part 5:

Special Venues

There are many special and unique venues in the new Marshall Student Center including: the Royal Palm Ballroom, the Oval Theater, the Chamber, Centre Gallery, Serenity Room, lounges, study rooms, multipurpose room, more than 25 meeting and conference rooms and the enhanced plaza. Below is additional information and renderings of the ballroom and theater.

Ballroom:

-1,200 seats for theater style

-600+ for banquet style

-Dividable into three separate rooms

-Glass windows overlook Crescent Hill

Theater:

-475 seats on main floor

-225 additional seats in balcony

-Venue for University Lecture Series, concerts, orientations and special events

-Rain site for CAB’s Movies on the Lawn

-Full surround sound

-Large display screen
