Since I have boasted of USF's 5-0 record against NBE teams in football, it's only fair to point out the less impressive track record in hoops... 18-60:

Connecticut 0-3

DePaul 4-9

Georgetown 1-2

USF has never played Notre Dame, Seton Hall, or Villanova in men's basketball.

Updated to 18-61, including 0-2 this season, with our loss to UofL today. Remaining games vs NBE teams this season are @Cincinnati 2/11; Marquette 2/26; and DePaul 3/6.

That NIT win over St. Johns was HUGE...it came after a win over Coppin State.  I believe Felipe Lopez was on the SJ squad at the time.  After that win, we had the upsettting game against NBE and current C-USA pal Marquette...I know most remember that game and Chucky at the line.  An FT away from MSG.
