Expectations for 2008 Season ?

the problem with firing our OC is .. who are we going to replace him with? We can't toss out tons of money to someone established.. we just don't have the money. Maybe we have a little more to play with with the UA contract, but we should take care of the coaches we have 1st.

So we need someone cheap. Isn't Marquel Blackwell coaching high school? How is his team doing.

Bring in Robert Weiner from Plant High School and get Plant's QB when he graduates.  The guys an OC and has been a success wherever he has been.  Yeah, I know, HS?  But seriously, the guy tends to get more out of undersized and less athletic players than I have ever seen.  His motivation, mentoring and game planning are renowned and he can really develop QB's well.  Maybe bring him in as QB coach at first and get his input into the offense.  If Leavitt really doesn't provide much input to his assistants - then his assistants must improve or he has to get much more involved or he has to upgrade where needed.
