I haven't seen any posts anywhere talking about this but how does UCF get to wear their GOLD jerseys as the road team? Did anyone else notice this? I see Miss State in all red and UCF is in Gold Jerseys/White pants. I know gold isn't always considered a "dark" color but that is their home jersey.....did UCF forget the white jerseys? I can't remember ever seeing both teams wear their dark jerseys in a game before. Just something I've wondered about.

Ask shoop, UCF/ND/Gtech gold is a light gold. USF gold is a "dark" gold.

No seriously why do you even care?

I also think they pulled out the gold ones against Nevada in the Hawaii Bowl, when Nevada wore navy blue.

I wanna wear green for OUR game!

What makes them so special?

WAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Seriously though, if the two teams' colors don't match, then both should be allowed to wear their home colors.

The only reason I care is the above quote. If there is no rule that says it doesn't matter which uni's you wear then why can't we wear our green/green combo any game we want assuming we are not playing a "green" team.

Rumor is that those Addidas unis are on the way out.

Interesting fact.  LSU wears their white jerseys at home and their purple jerseys away.  That forces the home team to wear their whites at home.  Strange.  So I guess the rule is much more unwritten.

Although I do believe UCF was the home team in both the Hawaii Bowl and Liberty Bowl, and that we were the gracious party who agreed to letting the other team wear their home colors.  We should probably stop that.
