Jac RB Fred Taylor....snubbed??

I wanted to see everyone's opinion on Fred Taylor not being selected for this years Pro Bowl. I am a little biased towards the Jags so I wanted some Buccaneer opinions.

Lets see:

1) Rushed for over 1,000 yards this season.

2) Has the 2nd highest Yards/per carry average in the whole league.

3) Splits his carries with the Pinball MoJo Drew.

4) Has rushed for over 100 yds in the last 4 games in a row.

how can a team lead the league in scoring defense, 2nd in passing defense, DIVISION WINNER, not have a single player in the pro bowl?

the pro bowl is a joke anyways, nobody watches it anymore, its just a popularity contest

Not taking LT off, Addai deserves to be there, Parker and Taylor are a tossup, but it is not like Parker doesn't deserve to be there

Taylor should be ahead of both Addai and Parker. Taylor averages a full yard more on his average than Addai and Parker, and that's with spilting time with Jone-Drew in the backfield. Not to mention Taylor is a 10 year veteran and beating these guys playing half as long.

Taylor....216 carries for 1091 yards, 5.1 average, 4 TDs, 2 fumbles

Parker....320 carries for 1317 yards, 4.1 average, 2 TDs, 4 fumbles

Addai....251 carries for 1019 yards, 4.1 average, 11 TDs, 0 fumbles

Tomlinson....280 carries for 1311 yards, 4.7 average, 14 TDs, 0 fumbles

Jones-Drew....157 carries for 724 yards, 4.6 average, 8 TDs, 2 fumbles

Parker also has 100 more carries than Taylor. If Taylor carried the ball as much, he would have those numbers as well.

This is where sharing the backfield should be considered. Jones-Drew is brought in for goal line situations and has 8 TDs to count for it. 8+4=12. Plus Taylor has more yards on fewer carries than Addai.

5th? seriously, he's 2nd and some might argue 3rd or a close 4th.

Out of the top 43 rushers in NFL history, Fred Taylor is the only one to not go to a ProBowl, and he's 18th and climbing. That's a 10 year snub if I ever saw one.

What list did u look at? Owens, Romo, Barber, Davis, Witten, Gurode, Ware, Newman, and Folk. That's 9 out of 42 slots. Compare to the Packers who have the same record but only 4 players....its obvious, some one was stuffing votes. Like I said, popularity contest. I'll give them Romo, Baber, Owens and Witten...maybe even Davis since he's finally the player 'zona thought the drafted. But 9?
