USF did compete in coed competition up until recently.  Look up the competition results.  Since they aren't coed anymore, they will never have the chance to catch back up.

Is this a moral victory?

Not that I want to get in the middle of this but we don't compete against them in cheerleading either.  They have a very good co-ed team.  We have a very good all-girl team.  So technically they won't have an opportunity to beat us in cheerleading either.
