Anyway, back to the main purpose of the thread. Love them or hate them, they are bringing a whole new kind of excitment. If the patriots were 9-3 or 10-2, would that game have been that exciting?

Excuses? How is that an excuse, the Patriots got caught cheating this year, they were fined and penalized for it. Technically they are still cheating since nothing was done to prevent the Patriots from using the knowledge learned from cheating.

Yeah, well I never said they werent a good team. I dont think they will go undefeated, but once the playoffs start, it'll be hard to beat them in foxboro with that winter weather. The AFC is kind of in a transition period this year. My Chargers are a bust, the Colts arent the same team they were last year, and I dont see anyone stepping up. Pitt's are pretenders. Only team I can see in the NFC is Cowboys, Packs if Brett is healthy and Patient, and maybe the Bucs....but thats a real reach.

The pick we got from the 49ers should not come into consideration.  It had everything to do with good trades in the past.  If they didn't have that pick? would your thought be any different?  Of course...

That pick had nothing to do with this year, so the league wouldn't touch it.

To take a page from your book....forget the ifs. They should of been more then a 1st round draft pick and a 500,000 fine. You call it whining, but let the colts do it and you'd be ******** that they were punished harsh enough. I swear the worst fans of all sports are Boston/New England fans. They are the same idiots who were calling for Danny Ainge's head when the Celtics sucked last year and now suck his **** now that they got Allen and Garnett. That whole region probably drive Hybrids considering how smug they are.

Celtics fans DO NOT LIKE Ainge.  I'm happy we have garnett and allen, but that doesn't make him a good GM.  He did this to save face... basically throwing in the towel on the rebuilding process.

You just hate new england fans b/c new england sports teams (well 2 of em anyway) are winning constantly while your team sits at home.  ;D  Envy.

there was no precedent for a bigger punishment if nothing was gained as deemed by the commish.  Got a problem... take it up with him.  The punishment was given and accepted without complaints.  And now the pats are doing whatever they can to prove they don't need no stinkin' cameras to beat everyone down.
